இதில் "படித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம்" என்பது "நிகழ்காலத் தொடர்வினை" என்றப்போதும் "இந்த வாரம்" என்பது இவ்வாரம் முழுதும் தொடர்ந்து படித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம் என்பதைக் குறிக்கின்றது என்பதை அவதானிக்கவும்.

3. Planned activities (Future Reference) இது ஒரு திட்டமிட்ட நடவடிக்கையை குறிக்கும்.

எடுத்துக்காட்டக:

இவ்வாக்கியத்தைச் சற்று கவனியுங்கள். இவ்வாக்கியத்தில் "I am coming" என்பது "நான் வந்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றேன்." என "நிகழ்காலத் தொடர்வினை" போல் கூறப்பட்டாலும், இதனுடன் tomorrow "நாளை" எனும் ஒருச் சொல்லும் இணைந்து பயன்படுவதால் இவ்வாக்கியம் ஒரு திட்டமிடப்பட்ட செயலை குறிப்பிடப் பயன்படும் எதிர்கால வாக்கியமாகும்.
