Protect your Google Accounts with a USB Security Key

Most big-name web services like Gmail, Microsoft, Evernote, WordPress and Dropbox now support 2-step authentication to improve the security of your online accounts. Once you enable two-factor authentication, a malicious person will not be able to log into your online account even if they know the password – they’ll need access to your mobile phone as well to get in.

The verification codes required for logging into a 2-step enabled account can be generated either using a mobile app – like Authy or Google Authenticator – or you can have them sent to your mobile phone via a text message or a voice call. The latter option however will not work if the mobile phone associated with your account is outside the coverage area (like when you are in a foreign country).

Your Mobile Phone can Detect Earthquakes

English: Mobile phone scrap, old decomissioned mobile phones, defective mobile phones (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Was it just you or did the ground really shake? Your iPhone, iPad and most newer mobile phones can work as basic seismometers, the same instrument that is used to measure the magnitude of earthquakes and volcanoes. You don’t need to install any apps, just the built-in web browser would suffice.

OK, try this. Launch Google Chrome or the Safari browser on your mobile phone (or tablet) and then open this page. You should see a continuously moving waveform but if you slightly shake or tilt your mobile device,  simulating seismic activity, the graph will capture these movements in real-time much like a seismograph.

Cloud power What is the value of your critical company data ?

I had it running a successful company deals with the day to day business owner talking he other day about a variety of issues. he notes and seems very happy and his staff work every night she works as an external drive to take home the truth i am sure the staff will be given half a chance , again that i am sure would be glad to see it is a laborious task. there are a few reasons for this system causes me concern.

This data is protected and the data is encrypted in any way ? if the drive is not encrypted i think your critical corporate data staff members work every day to walk off campus is a great danger that letting can say things. in the wrong hands your competitors a distinct possibility after opening your critical data.
This system is a manual process is prone to human error. for example forgetting to unplug the drive home. when unplugging the device and the driver had surgery or problems that cause data corruption.

What if there is a staff member at kucen . if this happens sometimes after they leave their employers in some way to try to damage the disgruntled employees over the years many new articles are also available.

this is obviously the worst event in the list above and the boss why i peciyaan good faith of his staff in the office to protect your network in the same way to protect your data can not you? if you have someone in your company data will not be allowed to happen in your server room

asked whether online or cloud backup is safe in this case my answer is a whole lot safer than the current system. very good backup service providers before sending the data to encrypt and the other and are stored in the data centres safe was .

these data centres in terms of safety and security at the highest levels to prevent the intrusion of the latest security features. the first data centre fire and was destriyed by the flood your data is still safe and secure 2nd in the centre so the data is replicated to another geographic location on the second floor. benefit from the same level of security appropriate to the second data centre location

it is certainly worthy of a good process?
